What grinders is Nexra compatible with?

Nexra is currently compatible with the Comandante C40 MK3 and MK4. We're exploring compatibility with additional manual grinders for future versions.

Can I adjust the grind size with Nexra attached?

Yes. You can adjust the grind setting as usual without removing Nexra.

What grind settings can Nexra handle?

Nexra is designed to handle a wide range of grind settings, from 15 to 35 clicks for everyday use depending on the beans and brewing method. During development, we tested Nexra with a variety of roast levels, including harder-to-grind light-roast beans.

Is the grinding speed adjustable?

No. Nexra uses a fixed grinding speed optimized to closely match the natural pace of manual grinding, helping maintain a consistent grinding experience.

Can I remove the C40 Adapter Coupler?

Yes. The C40 Adapter Coupler is tool-free to install and remove.

Can I switch back to using the original C40 crank?

Yes. The C40 Adapter Coupler can remain installed on your C40 during everyday use. It does not interfere with the original C40 crank, so you can switch between electric and manual grinding without removing the adapter coupler each time.

Can I buy the Nexra module and the stand set separately?

Yes. Nexra can be used on its own or with the stand, offering flexibility for different setups and everyday use. The electric module and the stand set will be available separately or as a bundle.

How is Nexra designed for long-term use?

Nexra was developed with our team's background in motor engineering and manufacturing. During development, we evaluated different motor configurations and conducted performance and durability testing before selecting the final motor.

Does Nexra ship worldwide?

Yes. We plan to ship worldwide. Shipping availability and costs will be confirmed during the Kickstarter campaign.

What is Nexra's warranty?

Nexra is covered by a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. Full warranty terms will be provided with your order.

Is the $9.90 reservation fee refundable?

Yes. If you decide not to purchase Nexra, email us before the Kickstarter campaign ends for a refund. If you purchase Nexra at launch, your $9.90 reservation fee will be applied to the $89 VIP price. You’ll pay the remaining $79 on Kickstarter.
